Test Mode allows users to safely test form submissions on action centers without sending messages to real officials, or adding dummy/fake contact data to your account. Enabling test mode also allows users to safely publish action centers without listing them in their action center widgets. Test mode is not currently compatible with phone-enabled (click-to-call) action centers.

Important: If an action center is in "test mode," no messages will be delivered to officials. It is imperative that you ensure your action center is "Live" before sending it out to supporters!

Enabling Test Mode

There are two ways to turn test mode on for an action center. The first is during the action center creation process. Once on the final step of creating the action center, users will notice a "Save and Test" option. Clicking that will publish the action center in test mode:

The second method for enabling test mode is done after the action center is published. To do this, navigate to your desired action center in the Muster application and find the "Settings" button in the top right. Click it and you'll see an "Enable Test Mode" option:

Disabling Test Mode

To turn test mode off, again navigate to your desired action center in the Muster application and find the "Settings" button in the top right. Click it, and this time you should see an option to "Go live":
